Also called castle of Clermont, the impressive fortress of Kyllini was built under the Franck principality of Morea in the XIIIth by Geoffroi de Villehardouin. Then it passed under the control of the Angevin of Naples at the end of the XIIIth, then to the paleologists of Mystras and then to Turkish in the XVth.
On the top of the hill of the peninsula of Kyllini, the castle faces the sea and offers a beautiful panorama on the Zakynthos' island.
